The 131F3667 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. Supplied under the VLT HVAC Drive product group, the unit modulates induction motor speed so air-handling units, pumps, and chillers can maintain setpoints with reduced energy use in commercial and industrial buildings. The drive carries the 102 series identifier within the platform and is intended for backplate mounting in electrical rooms. Its speed regulation supports applications in which motor output must change in response to variations in airflow, pressure, or cooling demand.
The inverter accepts a three-phase mains supply ranging from 200–240 VAC. Operation with three-phase power allows direct connection to compatible low-voltage distribution boards without a step-up transformer. The enclosure has an IP21 / Type 1 backplate rating, providing protection against dripping water and incidental contact when the drive is installed in a ventilated cabinet. Mechanical integration is supported by the Frame B and C backplate for an open drive back, which allows the chassis to be secured to a rear mounting plate instead of side brackets. An internal RFI filter attenuates high-frequency switching noise returned to the mains and helps the installation meet applicable electromagnetic compatibility limits. Adequate cabinet ventilation is still required to carry heat away from the inverter during continuous operation.
Adaptation A provides standard cable entries, while Adaptation B leaves the gland-plate layout unchanged. Local interaction is handled through the numerical local control panel, which provides basic start, stop, and parameter keys without a graphical display. The drive is supplied with no brake chopper, so regenerative energy produced during controlled deceleration must be managed externally. The unit uses an uncoated printed circuit board and is therefore best suited to clean, dry electrical rooms with controlled airflow. The absence of preinstalled application modules, fieldbus cards, and safe-stop relays keeps the supplied configuration limited to its standard control functions. External components should be selected according to the connected motor, the required stopping behavior, and the conditions inside the electrical enclosure.
