Product Description:
The 131F0775 is a variable frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. Classified within the VLT HVAC Drive product group, it serves building automation systems by converting fixed mains power into a modulated output that matches the load requirements of supply and return air fans, pumps, and other induction motors. This speed regulation reduces energy use and mechanical wear while maintaining stable airflow or water circulation in commercial climate control systems. The drive can regulate motor operation according to changing pressure, temperature, or flow demands without requiring motors to run continuously at full speed.
The drive accepts a supply of 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power network, matching common utility voltages in industrial facilities. Its continuous output is rated at 18.5 kW, equivalent to 25 HP, which allows direct connection to mid-size air handling or booster pump motors. The IP21 / Type 1 housing limits dust ingress and protects against vertically dripping water, making the unit suitable for installation in dry electrical rooms. Its mechanical layout supports indoor mounting with the clearances needed for ventilation and access to wiring terminals. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so applications requiring rapid deceleration must use suitable external braking equipment or allow the connected motor to decelerate naturally. Series 102 controls provide parameters for HVAC functions such as proportional-integral fan control, temperature override, and automatic energy optimization.
An integrated RFI filter attenuates conducted electrical emissions and helps the installation meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements without an additional filter. Local operation is provided by the detachable graphical local control panel, which displays setpoints, operating values, alarms, and trend data on a backlit screen. Power and control conductors enter through standard cable entries, allowing organized routing into the drive enclosure without alternative gland plates. The control electronics use an uncoated PCB, so the drive should be installed away from high humidity, corrosive gases, chemical vapors, and conductive airborne contaminants. The standard configuration does not include supplemental motion control cards or factory-installed extensions, leaving the available connections focused on normal HVAC motor control and building automation signals.
