Product Description:
The 131F0716 is an AC variable frequency drive engineered by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates induction motor speed in air-handling units, pumps, and condensers, allowing building automation systems to adjust energy use while maintaining airflow and pressure targets. The drive is intended for installation in dry electrical rooms and accommodates enclosure frame sizes B through E. Its standard terminal set provides direct connections to building management controllers for operating commands, reference signals, and status monitoring.
The unit delivers a continuous mechanical output of 1.1 kW when connected to a 200–240 VAC supply. It operates with three-phase power, which is commonly used for motors in commercial HVAC equipment. The IP21 / Type 1 housing protects internal components from contact with fingers and vertically falling water drops during indoor use. Motor control algorithms and HVAC-specific functions are managed by the Series 102 control platform. The heat sink orientation is suitable for the supported frame sizes and dry-room installation conditions. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so compatible external braking equipment is required when an application demands rapid motor deceleration.
The A and B option slots are unpopulated, and Adaptation B is not applied to this configuration. The logic boards use standard cable entries, providing conventional access for power and control wiring. User interaction is provided through a graphical local control panel, which displays operating values, alarms, and configurable parameters using the included standard language pack. Conducted electrical interference is reduced by an integrated RFI filter, helping limit noise returned to the incoming power supply. The printed circuit boards are not conformally coated, which is consistent with the intended dry indoor installation. Expansion positions C0, C1, and D do not contain optional fieldbus or input/output cards, while the standard terminals remain available for the required control connections.
