Product Description:
The 131F0673 is an AC drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. Within building automation systems, it regulates the speed of induction motors so that fans, pumps, or compressors deliver the airflow or pressure demanded by the control loop. Matching motor output to actual demand can improve energy use and reduce mechanical wear. The drive is suitable for HVAC applications that require variable-speed operation under automated control.
The input section accepts a nominal line voltage of 380–480 VAC, allowing the drive to connect directly to common 400 V industrial feeders. The unit uses three-phase power, which balances current across the three supply conductors and avoids neutral loading. Its enclosure carries an IP21 / Type 1 rating, providing protection against finger contact and vertically falling water drops. This enclosure is appropriate for installation in dry, conditioned electrical rooms. Conducted emissions are attenuated by the integrated RFI filter, which helps the installation meet applicable residential and commercial electromagnetic compatibility limits. Parameter entry and local diagnostics are handled through the front-mounted graphical local control panel. The keypad presents text and bar-graph readouts instead of relying only on numeric codes. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so kinetic energy produced during deceleration must be managed by the motor or suitable external equipment. Availability across B, C, D, and E frame sizes provides flexibility when selecting physical dimensions for switchgear layouts.
Cables pass through standard cable entries, allowing direct routing to the drive terminals. No additional Adaptation B hardware is installed, which keeps the connection arrangement straightforward. The control electronics use an uncoated PCB, so the drive should not be exposed to condensing humidity, corrosive fumes, or other contaminants that could damage electronic components. A Standard Language Pack provides multilingual text on the local control panel. The baseline configuration does not include auxiliary A, B, C, or D option modules, but compatible plug-in modules can be installed when additional functions are required.
