Product Description:
The 131F0669 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. The unit regulates the speed of induction motors used in air-handling units, chillers, and pump groups, allowing building management systems to match airflow or pressure to real-time demand while reducing energy consumption. By converting fixed-frequency mains power into a programmable output, the drive controls ventilation and climate systems in factories, data centers, and commercial facilities. Its variable-speed operation can reduce unnecessary motor output when heating, cooling, or ventilation demand falls.
The drive accepts an input of 380–480 VAC and uses three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial electrical supplies without a transformer. Its IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects live parts against accidental finger contact and vertically falling water drops, making the unit suitable for dry indoor electrical rooms rather than washdown areas. User interaction is provided through an integrated graphical local control panel, which displays setpoints, operating data, and alarms on a multiline screen. Electrical connections use standard cable entries associated with the Adaptation A code. The drive supports dry-room mounting with B, C, D, or E frames, depending on the applicable equipment configuration. Its Series Identifier 102 corresponds to the control and parameter arrangement used for FC 102 models.
The drive has no brake chopper, so it cannot connect directly to an external dynamic braking resistor for rapid motor deceleration. It also has no C1 option installed, and the A and B option positions are not populated with additional boards. The unit uses an uncoated printed circuit board, making it appropriate for clean, controlled indoor areas without significant moisture, corrosive vapor, or airborne contamination. As part of the VLT HVAC Drive product group, it includes fan-oriented control functions and application macros for ventilation systems. The unit has no mains option, so any required harmonic-mitigation equipment must be installed separately. The C0 application card and D option slot accessory are absent, while the Adaptation B field is left blank.
