Product Description:
The 131F0340 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into an adjustable output for building-services motors, allowing fan and pump speeds to follow changes in load demand. This variable-speed operation can reduce energy consumption in industrial and commercial air-handling applications. Integration with common HVAC control loops provides controlled torque without requiring mechanical dampers to perform all flow regulation. The drive can help maintain temperature, pressure, and flow setpoints as operating conditions change. Its electrical design supports cabinet installation, allowing multiple drives to share a common supply in a centralized plant room.
Rated output reaches 45 kW, allowing the drive to operate motors rated up to 60 HP. The power input accepts 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply and connects directly to compatible industrial mains. Its IP20 chassis enclosure is intended for installation inside a ventilated cabinet while providing protection against accidental contact with live components. Standard mounting for A, B, or C frames supports cabinet layouts that use the applicable clearances for airflow and wiring. An integrated radio-frequency interference filter limits conducted electrical emissions from the drive. The unit does not include a brake chopper, so applications requiring rapid deceleration must use another suitable method of managing regenerative energy. Its printed circuit boards are uncoated and are intended for normal indoor cabinet conditions.
The drive is supplied with a graphical local control panel for local operation, parameter entry, and status monitoring. Factory-supplied standard cable entries provide the openings needed to route power and control wiring into the enclosure. Electromagnetic compliance is supported by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which reduces interference conducted back toward the mains supply. The standard language pack supports the menus displayed through the local control panel. No brake safe-stop feature is installed, so any required safety functions must be provided through an appropriate external control arrangement. The drive uses the standard configuration without additional motion-control functions, adaptation hardware, or optional input and output modules.
