Product Description:
The 131F0143 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss and supplied in the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It modulates motor speed for air-handling units, pumps, and cooling towers, allowing building automation systems to regulate airflow, pressure, or water circulation. The drive can reduce unnecessary energy consumption by matching motor output to changes in system demand. Series 102 places the unit in an HVAC-focused platform intended for reliable motor control and straightforward field setup.
The drive accepts a mains input of 380–480 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial distribution networks. The inverter provides up to 11 kW of continuous electrical output, which corresponds to a motor rating of 15 HP. Protection is provided by an IP21 / Type 1 backplate enclosure that guards the internal electronics against contact with larger foreign objects and vertically falling water. Mechanical installation uses a Frame B and C backplate for an open-drive mounting arrangement. The circuitry does not include a brake chopper, so external dynamic braking equipment is required when an application demands rapid deceleration. The uncoated printed circuit board is best suited for clean, temperature-controlled installation areas where moisture and airborne contaminants are limited.
The user interface consists of a graphical local control panel that supports parameter changes and provides operating status directly at the drive. A factory-installed Standard Language Pack provides the available interface languages for local operation. Conducted electromagnetic emissions are reduced by an internal RFI filter, helping the drive limit interference transmitted through connected power wiring. Field wiring passes through standard cable entries associated with Adaptation A, providing an organized route for mains and motor conductors. Option slots A, B, C, C0, C1, and D are unoccupied, leaving the base unit without additional communication, feedback, or application modules. Adaptation B is not installed, so operation relies on the standard control features included with the mains-fed inverter stage.
