The 131B9890 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. As a dedicated HVAC drive, it modulates the speed of induction motors that run supply fans, return fans, and hydronic pumps so building automation systems can match airflow or water flow to demand while reducing energy use. Its graphical local control panel provides access to operating parameters, while integrated protective and filtering elements support continuous plant operation. The drive fits mid-power applications where three-phase mains are standard and offers embedded features intended for ventilation and climate control loops.
Electrically, the unit delivers a continuous shaft output of 37 kW, which corresponds to 50 hp. The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 380–480 VAC, allowing the unit to operate on common industrial feeder voltages without step-up transformers. Under rated conditions, the inverter supplies a continuous motor phase current of 65 A, which can rise to 71.5 A during short acceleration or peak-load periods.
