Product Description:
The 131B9365 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates the speed of centrifugal fans and pumps used in building automation, allowing energy-efficient control of airflow and hydronic circulation. By modulating motor frequency, the unit can match equipment output to real-time demand while reducing unnecessary mechanical stress on connected components. Its design integrates with common HVAC control architectures and provides a suitable power range for commercial ventilation, cooling, and water circulation systems.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 11 kW, which is equivalent to 15 HP, when supplied from a 200–240 VAC network. It operates with three-phase power, providing the electrical configuration commonly used for commercial HVAC motors. The enclosure has an IP21 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for installation in ventilated indoor mechanical rooms or protected electrical cabinets. Standard cable entries are provided under Adaptation A, allowing power and control conductors to be routed into the housing without a specialized gland plate. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative braking energy must be handled by suitable external equipment when the application requires rapid deceleration. Its printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the installation area should remain free from corrosive gases, conductive dust, and excessive moisture. Line disconnect equipment can be installed separately when isolation from the incoming power source is required.
User interaction is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which mounts on the front of the drive and presents operating data and parameters in plain text. This interface supports local starting, stopping, status monitoring, and parameter adjustment without requiring a separate control terminal. Mechanical installation uses a Frame B & C backplate arrangement that allows the drive to fasten directly to a cabinet wall or compatible mounting surface. Line-side electromagnetic emissions are reduced by the integrated RFI filter, helping limit radio-frequency interference conducted back toward the supply network. Multilingual menu access is provided by the Standard language pack, allowing operating information and parameter descriptions to be displayed in commonly supported languages. The combination of local controls, cabinet mounting provisions, and input filtering supports integration with building management systems and standard HVAC control equipment.
