The 131B7275 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates the speed of induction motors used in fans, pumps, and compressors in commercial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. By adjusting motor output to match real-time demand, the drive allows air volume and water flow to vary instead of remaining at a constant level. This control method can reduce unnecessary motor operation during periods of lower demand while maintaining the required system response.
The drive accepts an input of 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing connection to compatible building power systems without a transformer. Radio-frequency noise is limited by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which helps control electromagnetic interference in mixed-use facilities. The IP20 chassis protection prevents accidental contact with live components when the unit is installed inside a suitable cabinet. The drive supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, with mounting points and airflow paths arranged for the applicable frame sizes.
