The 131B7038 AC drive is produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It functions as a variable-frequency inverter in ventilation, pumping, and chiller systems, adjusting motor speed to accommodate changing thermal loads in commercial facilities. Direct control of induction-motor frequency supports efficient operation by reducing unnecessary motor output when demand falls. The drive also provides monitoring and command functions for integration with modern building-management systems, allowing operating data and control signals to be exchanged with the surrounding automation equipment.
The unit accepts a three-phase input of 380–480 VAC from power distribution systems commonly installed in mechanical rooms and industrial facilities. Its inverter provides up to 5.5 kW of continuous output for a connected motor, supporting applications such as fans, pumps, and compressors. The enclosure carries an IP55 / Type 12 rating, protecting internal components against dust and low-pressure water jets.
