The 131B5837 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It serves as a building-services controller for induction motors used in ventilation fans, circulation pumps, compressors, air-handling equipment, and chilled-water systems. By adjusting motor speed in response to changing load demands, the drive allows connected equipment to reduce unnecessary energy use while maintaining the airflow, pressure, or fluid circulation required by the building system.
This model delivers a continuous mechanical output of 15 kW, which is equivalent to 20 HP and supports mid-range blowers or circulation pumps. The input section accepts 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power network, allowing connection to common commercial power distribution systems. An IP21 / Type 1 enclosure provides basic protection against contact with internal components and vertically falling water drops during indoor operation. The dry-room mounting designation applies to B, C, D, and E mechanical frames, giving system designers several enclosure sizes for different installation footprints.
