The 131B5482 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a regulated output for ventilation systems, pumps, chiller loops, air-handling units, and cooling towers. When connected between a building-management system and an induction motor, the controller adjusts motor speed to meet changing airflow or pressure demands. This variable-speed operation can reduce energy consumption while helping the connected equipment maintain stable operating conditions.
The drive supplies a continuous output of 22 kW, which corresponds to 30 HP and supports medium-frame motors used in large air-handling systems. It accepts an input voltage range of 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing direct connection to common industrial distribution systems without an autotransformer. The enclosure has an IP55 / Type 12 rating, protecting the internal electronics against dust and low-pressure water jets when the cover is properly closed. Standard cable entries provide organized routing for power and control wiring through the enclosure.
