The 131B5477 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It modulates motor speed in ventilation and pumping systems, allowing building controls to adjust airflow or fluid flow in response to changing demand. This variable-speed operation can reduce unnecessary motor output when the connected system operates below full capacity. The drive is intended for installation in mechanical rooms or electrical closets that provide suitable protection for its enclosure. An integrated local control panel provides access to operating information and adjustable parameters, while supported fieldbus connections allow the unit to exchange commands and status data with a building control system.

This model provides a continuous mechanical output of 30 HP, which corresponds to an electrical output rating of 22 kW. The input stage accepts a 380–480 VAC supply and is designed for three-phase power networks commonly used in commercial facilities. Its power electronics regulate the voltage and frequency supplied to the connected motor, enabling controlled acceleration, deceleration, and steady-speed operation. The enclosure has an IP21 / Type 1 classification, providing protection against contact with internal components, limited dust ingress, and vertically falling water drops. This enclosure is suitable for dry indoor locations where the drive is not exposed to direct spray, excessive moisture, or severe airborne contamination. The mechanical platform accommodates B, C, D, and E frame sizes, allowing the appropriate drive footprint to be selected for the required power range and available mounting space.

A factory-installed RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter limits conducted electrical emissions on the supply conductors. Parameter access and operating data are presented through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which provides a readable interface for configuration, monitoring, and fault review. Conductors enter the enclosure through standard cable entries, supporting organized routing of mains, motor, and control wiring. The standard language pack provides multilingual menu text for the control interface. The drive does not include a brake chopper, mains disconnect, or additional option cards. Its printed circuit boards are not conformally coated, so the unit should be kept away from condensation, corrosive vapors, and other contaminants that could affect exposed electronic surfaces.
