Product Description:
The 131B4268 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. The unit regulates the speed of fan, pump, and compressor motors used in building automation systems, ventilation equipment, and hydronic circuits. It adjusts motor output in response to pressure, temperature, or flow demands, which can reduce unnecessary energy use while maintaining stable operation. Its control functions also support gradual acceleration and deceleration, reducing mechanical stress on connected equipment and limiting abrupt changes in airflow or fluid pressure.
The drive delivers up to 30 kW, which corresponds to 40 HP. It accepts an input voltage range of 380 to 480 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing connection to common industrial electrical systems. The IP55 / Type 12 enclosure protects internal components against dust, incidental contact, and water jets. The unit does not include a brake chopper, so applications that require dynamic braking must use suitable external equipment. Its mains section is supplied without a factory disconnect, allowing the required isolation equipment to be selected for the installation. The safe-stop input provides basic terminal isolation, while the standard language pack supplies the default interface languages for operation and setup.
Conducted emission control is provided by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which reduces high-frequency electrical noise without requiring a separate C1 filter card. Operating data, parameter menus, and diagnostic messages are displayed through the graphical local control panel. Field wiring passes through the standard cable entries, and the gland positions remain in their original arrangement because no entry adaptation is installed. The printed circuit boards are not coated, so the drive should be protected from corrosive gases, conductive dust, excessive humidity, and other airborne contaminants that could affect exposed electronics. Its enclosure offers external protection, but installation conditions must still account for the uncoated internal boards. The integrated filter, local display, and cable-entry arrangement support direct installation in HVAC control panels without additional interface hardware.
