The 131B4218 is an AC drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It is used in building automation to modulate fan, pump, and compressor speeds so that air-handling and chilled-water systems can respond to real-time demand. By managing motor frequency rather than relying entirely on mechanical dampers or valves, the drive improves energy use and reduces wear on downstream equipment. This method also provides smoother acceleration and deceleration when operating conditions change throughout the day.
This model accepts a supply of 380–480 VAC from three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common low-voltage distribution panels.
