The 131B3607 HVAC drive is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. This variable-frequency drive serves building automation systems that regulate pumps, ventilation fans, and air-handling equipment. By modulating motor speed, the drive allows connected equipment to match actual load demand instead of operating continuously at a fixed line frequency. This approach supports smooth motor control during changes in airflow, water flow, or building demand.

The power section accepts an input range of 380–480 VAC and uses three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial switchboards. At the output, it provides a continuous shaft capacity of 11 kW, equivalent to 15 HP, for medium-sized ventilation fans and chilled-water pumps. The enclosure has an IP55 / Type 12 rating, protecting the internal electronics against dust and low-pressure water jets commonly encountered in mechanical rooms. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so overhauling loads must be managed through suitable motor deceleration profiles rather than internal energy dissipation. Its printed circuit boards are not coated and therefore do not have an additional protective layer against airborne moisture or contaminants. Thermal stress is managed by natural convection through the housing, eliminating the need for a separate external cooling system. Optional A, B, C0, C1, and D assemblies are not installed, leaving the drive with its essential control and power components.

An integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter suppresses conducted electrical noise on the supply side and supports electromagnetic compatibility in commercial and industrial installations. Local operation is provided through the graphical local control panel, which supports parameter changes, status monitoring, and trend viewing without external tools. The panel gives operators direct access to drive information from the front of the enclosure. Upstream isolation is provided by a factory-installed mains disconnect, allowing the incoming supply to be isolated and locked out during service. Cable termination uses standard cable entries for routing power, motor, and control wiring into the enclosure. The adaptation profile applies no additional factory configuration, allowing the installation layout to determine any application-specific cable entry changes.
