The FC-301PK75T4134L2714 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a modulated output that lets controllers vary induction motor speed for pumps, fans, and conveyors used in factory automation. The drive is part of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and uses the internal 301 identifier. It supports process optimization by matching motor torque to real-time load demands.
The power stage accepts industrial supplies of 380–480 VAC and is designed for three-phase power distribution. Continuous shaft power reaches 0.75 kW, which corresponds to 1.0 HP and provides sufficient capacity for small mechanical axes. The displacement power factor is greater than 0.98, which keeps reactive current low, while a true power factor of at least 0.9 supports efficient energy use. The analog output has a resolution of 12 bits, providing 4,096 discrete steps for speed or process feedback, and its accuracy remains within 0.5% of full scale. Two digital outputs and six digital inputs support simple sequence control, while a phase imbalance tolerance of 3% helps protect the drive against asymmetric mains conditions.
The analog feedback channel can support a load of less than 500 Ω while remaining within its rated operating range. Each transistor digital output can source up to 40 mA for indicator lamps or compatible interface circuits. Logic circuits register input transitions when pulses are wider than 4.5 ms, permitting direct connection of mechanical limit switches. The control electronics support two power-ups per minute, and the assembly is rated for overvoltage category III. Mains inrush is managed internally to reduce electrical stress during startup. Shielded motor cables may extend up to 50 m while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility in installations where the drive is mounted away from the controlled machinery.
