Product Description:
The FC-301PK75T4134L2681 is an AC drive module manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Using pulse-width modulation technology, it converts fixed-frequency plant power into a variable-frequency output suitable for controlling small induction motors used in pumps, conveyors, and material-handling stations. By synchronizing motor speed with process demand, the drive improves energy efficiency and reduces mechanical stress in industrial automation systems. Its variable-frequency output also supports controlled acceleration and deceleration, which can reduce sudden mechanical loading on connected equipment.
When receiving a three-phase supply of 380–480 VAC, the unit draws 2.2 A of input current and delivers an output current of 2.4 A to the motor terminals. Continuous load capacity reaches 0.75 kW, which is equivalent to 1.0 HP, and apparent power at 400 V is 1.7 kVA. A conversion efficiency of 0.96 limits thermal dissipation to 46 W during steady operation. A true power factor of at least 0.9 helps prevent supply conductors from carrying unnecessary reactive current. The drive is intended for three-phase power installations. Internal logic restricts capacitor cycling to two power-ups per minute to protect the DC-link components from excessive electrical and thermal stress.
The control interface offers one analog output with 12-bit resolution and two digital outputs rated for 40 mA each, enabling straightforward status signaling to external controllers. To minimize line distortion, the converter maintains a displacement power factor above 0.98. Incoming phase asymmetry must remain within a 3.0% limit to avoid overloading the input rectifier. Shielded motor cabling may extend to 50 m without exceeding the approved rate-of-voltage-change limits, while unshielded cabling may extend to 75 m. These cable allowances provide flexibility when the motor and drive are installed in different sections of an industrial machine or control system.
