Product Description:
The FC-301PK75T2131X7292 variable frequency drive is built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency supply power into a regulated three-phase output, allowing asynchronous motors to accelerate, decelerate, or maintain a constant speed according to process demands in conveyors, pumps, and ventilation systems. The shared menu structure and mechanical outline across the 301 line support consistent panel wiring across multiple power ratings.
The drive supplies 0.75 kW of continuous electrical power, equivalent to 1.0 HP, when operated within an input range of 200–240 VAC. It is intended for three-phase power networks and tolerates a maximum supply voltage imbalance of 3.0%. The output frequency can reach 590 Hz, allowing high-speed spindles to operate above the nominal motor base speed. Control terminals accept 28 V DC logic, and control wiring is limited to conductors with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm² to fit the spring-clamp terminal blocks. Internal logic monitors power-cycle stress, and the drive permits no more than two power-ups per minute. An overvoltage alarm activates at a DC-link voltage of 410 V DC to protect the capacitors. The digital braking circuitry also monitors for a 405 V DC high-voltage condition before initiating a shutdown.
Flux control begins at 300 Hz, while the carrier pulse frequency can reach 110 kHz for applications requiring low audible noise. The integrated brake chopper activates at 365 V DC to direct regenerated energy to an external resistor, and a high-speed warning occurs at 405 V DC. Safe Torque Off inputs draw 50 mA RMS, making them compatible with common safety relays. Motor leads may extend up to 50 m when shielded cable is used or up to 75 m with unshielded cable without derating. The control terminals support compact wiring arrangements within the drive enclosure. The brake chopper provides a controlled path for energy returned to the DC link during motor deceleration.
