The FC-301PK55T4E20H1 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied under the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase line power into a modulated output that allows induction motors to run at speeds matched to real-time load demand. Installed between the utility supply and the motor, the unit gives PLCs and stand-alone controllers precise control of conveyors, pumps, and fans while reducing energy use and mechanical stress on driven equipment. That control also helps smooth startups and speed changes during routine machine operation.
Electrical capacity is tuned for small-frame motors. The inverter can deliver 0.75 HP, equivalent to 0.55 kW, making it suitable for auxiliary pumps, mixers, or indexing stations. Its rectifier accepts an input range of 380 – 480 VAC, covering common 400 V and 460 V plant grids without tap changes. Operation requires three-phase power, which balances current draw and helps reduce harmonic distortion in the distribution network. An integrated RFI Class A1/B filter suppresses conducted noise, allowing the assembled cabinet to meet residential and light-industrial electromagnetic compatibility limits.
