Product Description:
The FC-301PK55T4131X7273 variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. This three-phase converter accepts industrial mains power and produces a controllable AC output, allowing motor speed to match real-time process demands in pumps, fans, conveyors, and compact machine tools. The unit uses the mechanical dimensions, compatible option modules, and menu structure associated with the 301 platform.
At the input, the inverter connects to 380–480 VAC and draws a maximum of 1.6 A at the lower end of that range. Its apparent power at 400 V is 1.3 kVA, while its continuous motor output is 0.55 kW, equivalent to 0.75 HP. Under nominal conditions, the drive supplies 1.8 A of motor current and can briefly rise to 2.0 A to cover acceleration peaks. Speed control spans 0 to 590 Hz, and a dedicated flux mode permits torque-oriented operation up to 300 Hz. The control terminals provide a 10 V reference limited to 15 mA and a 24 V source that supports 200 mA for switches or encoders. An integrated relay can switch 240 VAC at 2 A, enabling direct connections to contactors or alarm circuits.
The drive operates at an efficiency of 0.95, and it releases only 42 W as heat at rated load, reducing panel cooling requirements. In flux mode, the torque response takes 1 ms, whereas the VVC+ vector algorithm completes the same step in 10 ms for applications that favor smoother starts. Shielded motor leads may extend up to 50 m without exceeding EMC limits, supporting remote motor placement on extended production lines. The internal logic uses the 301 platform identifier to maintain compatibility with supported fieldbus cards and parameter files. This arrangement allows the drive to exchange control and status data with connected automation systems while retaining a consistent parameter structure.
