Product Description:
The FC-301PK25T2134L2662 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Classified in the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, the device serves as a compact motor controller that modulates three-phase power to adjust the speed of standard induction motors. In automated plants, it is installed between the mains supply and the motor to deliver closed-loop control, reduce mechanical wear, and lower energy consumption on pumps, fans, and material-handling lines.
The drive accepts a three-phase input in the 200–240 VAC range and draws a continuous current of 1.6 A while delivering 1.8 A to the motor terminals. With a power rating of 0.25 kW, or 0.33 HP, it supports fractional-horsepower applications where cabinet space and energy use are constrained. Its nominal conversion efficiency is 0.94, so only 6% of the supplied energy is dissipated as heat. The electronic design tolerates mains voltage imbalance of up to 3.0%. Input power may be cycled up to two times per minute. Output frequency is adjustable from zero to 590 Hz, while specialized flux mode supports dynamic operation up to 300 Hz. Two digital pulse outputs, each rated at 40 mA, provide status or speed feedback to supervisory controllers.
During startup, the inverter can supply 160% of rated torque for 60 seconds per 10-minute interval, allowing heavy loads to begin moving without an external soft starter. Once running, the magnetic control responds in 1 ms, enabling rapid speed corrections. Apparent power capability reaches 0.65 kVA at 208 V, and the thermal design limits internal dissipation to 21 W, simplifying enclosure ventilation. Motor leads may extend up to 50 m when shielded or 75 m when unshielded, allowing the drive to be installed remotely from the motor without excessive voltage drop. The available overload capacity supports applications that require additional starting torque, while the fast control response helps maintain stable operation when load demand changes. The permitted cable lengths also provide flexibility when the motor and control cabinet cannot be installed near each other.
