Product Description:
The FC-301PK25T2134L2621 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase AC mains power into a modulated output that allows controllers to adjust motor speed in small conveyors, pumps, and fans. By regulating output voltage and frequency, the unit maintains motor torque while reducing energy use in light-duty industrial automation applications.
This model has a rated motor output of 0.25 kW and supports a continuous motor current of up to 1.8 A. Its input side draws 1.6 A and uses 0.72 kVA of apparent power at 230 V, allowing appropriate upstream circuit protection to be selected. The drive accepts a 200–240 VAC three-phase supply, making it compatible with common low-voltage industrial power networks. Its efficiency reaches 0.94, which limits waste heat during steady-state operation. The output frequency can be adjusted from zero to 590 Hz, while flux vector control supports frequencies up to 300 Hz. For motor connections, the drive supports shielded cable runs up to 50 m and unshielded cable runs up to 75 m. These cable allowances provide flexibility when the motor and drive must be installed at different locations within a machine or control system.
Total thermal dissipation is 21 W at rated load, so the surrounding enclosure requires only modest cooling capacity. The drive has four programmable digital inputs that accept up to 28 V DC, allowing a PLC to issue start, stop, jog, and fault-reset commands directly. Two digital outputs can each source up to 40 mA for status signaling or control functions. An auxiliary 24 V rail supplies up to 200 mA for compatible external sensors and low-power control devices. The pulse-reference input supports frequencies up to 110 kHz, allowing the drive to process high-resolution speed commands with accurate timing.
