Product Description:
The FC-301P7K5T4134L2919 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase line power into a modulated output that allows control systems to adjust induction motor speed and torque without mechanical throttling. By varying the supplied frequency and voltage, the unit supports conveyors, pumps, and general automation systems that require precise speed regulation and reduced energy consumption. Its variable-speed operation allows connected machinery to respond to changing process demands without relying on mechanical speed-control devices.
The drive has a continuous motor output rating of 7.5 kW and can supply up to 16 A to the motor terminals when connected to a 380–480 VAC supply. The inverter produces a maximum fundamental output frequency of 590 Hz, allowing it to operate compatible motors in high-speed applications. The power stage provides a continuous apparent power of 11 kVA at 400 V. The rate of voltage change is limited to 2.828 kV/µs with a 150 m motor circuit operating at 480 V, helping reduce stress on motor insulation. Four digital inputs accept 24 V control signals for functions such as running, stopping, and selecting preset values. For installations rated up to 7.5 kW, the logic section permits two power-up cycles per minute. The maximum permitted line-phase imbalance is 3%, which helps keep rectifier loading and DC-link ripple within acceptable operating limits.
The drive can operate at altitudes up to 1000 m without derating. It supports an ambient temperature of 50 °C at 90% continuous load or 45 °C at full current. Shielded motor cable may extend up to 50 m, while unshielded cable may extend up to 75 m for installations with greater separation between the drive and motor. The control board provides a 24 V auxiliary supply capable of delivering 200 mA to external sensors or contactors. Storage temperatures may range from 0 °C to 70 °C. These operating and storage conditions support installation in standard electrical rooms when the required ventilation, clearances, and cable-routing practices are maintained.
