Product Description:
The FC-301P7K5T4131H3310 belongs to the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series from Danfoss. It is an AC variable-frequency drive designed to adjust the speed of three-phase induction motors in general industrial automation. By converting fixed line power into a programmable output, the unit allows process controllers to match motor torque and speed to real-time load demands. This capability supports controlled operation in pumps, fans, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment. Adjustable output frequency can also reduce unnecessary energy use when an application does not require the motor to operate continuously at full speed.
The drive has a continuous power capability of 7.5 kW, giving it the thermal capacity to operate a compatible motor at the rated load. The same power rating is expressed as 10 HP for applications that use horsepower-based motor ratings. Supply compatibility covers 380–480 VAC, allowing the converter to connect to common low-voltage industrial power networks. Operation requires three-phase power, and the internal rectifier draws current across all three phases. An integrated rectifier-inverter package converts the incoming AC supply into a controlled output for the connected motor. This arrangement supports torque delivery throughout the operating speed range without requiring an external autotransformer.
A built-in integrated EMC filter attenuates conducted radio-frequency noise and supports use in Category C3 industrial environments. This filter reduces the need for separate filtering components when the installation conditions meet the applicable requirements. The model carries the series identifier 301, which corresponds to the FC 301 control terminal layout, parameter structure, and cooling arrangement. Its control platform supports programmable motor operation and integration with industrial automation systems. Fieldbus options allow the drive to exchange commands, operating data, and diagnostic information with compatible controllers. The enclosure layout accommodates the power electronics, control terminals, and cooling passages needed for continuous operation. Proper panel clearance allows cooling air to move through the drive and helps keep internal components within their permitted temperature range.
