Product Description:
The FC-301P75KT4131B6119 is a variable speed AC drive manufactured by Danfoss and included in the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Installed upstream of three-phase motors, the converter adjusts output voltage and frequency to match load demands, allowing precise speed control in conveyors, centrifugal pumps, and material-handling systems. By converting fixed-frequency mains into a programmable waveform, it supports energy-efficient operation and lowers mechanical stress on driven equipment. Built-in control functions let the drive regulate acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state speed so process equipment can respond smoothly to changing loads.
Electrically, the drive draws three-phase power across a nominal range of 380 – 480 VAC and can supply mechanical loads up to 75 kW. This operating range makes the unit suitable for common industrial distribution systems used with standard induction motors. The inverter reproduces up to 100% of the input voltage while extending the output frequency ceiling to 590 Hz, and flux-optimization functions remain active through 300 Hz for field-oriented control. For short-term starting or braking, the current limit rises to 177 A @ 380–440 V, and the intermediate DC link issues an alarm if it reaches 820 V DC. To protect the power stage, only one energization cycle per minute is permitted at 1/min. Control terminals tolerate logic levels to 28 V DC, and the safe-torque-off circuit sinks 50 mA rms when engaged. The control stage also accepts external run, stop, and reference signals for integration with machine-level controls. It also maintains a true power factor of ≥0.9 while supporting unshielded motor leads up to 75 m.
High-frequency switching performance is confirmed by a maximum carrier pulse rate of 110 kHz, enabling fine resolution in current regulation and reduced motor acoustic noise. This behavior can improve speed stability in applications that require quiet operation at varying loads. When shielded conductors are required for EMC compliance, the drive supports cable runs up to 50 m. Overall input quality remains strong, with a displacement power factor better than >0.98, minimizing reactive demand on the plant supply.
