The FC-301P55KT4131B8625 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Intended for cabinet installation, the unit converts fixed-frequency plant power into a modulated output that lets automation systems adjust the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors. By matching motor output to real-time demand, the drive helps conveyors, pumps, and other equipment run efficiently and reduces mechanical stress during startups and braking sequences in diverse processing lines.
It accepts 380–480 VAC three-phase mains power and can deliver up to 55 kW of continuous mechanical power. Its efficiency is 0.98, so most of the supplied energy reaches the motor instead of being lost as heat. Frequency regulation extends to 590 Hz, while a separate flux-vector mode is limited to 300 Hz when tighter torque control is needed. The control board issues a high-voltage warning at 810 V DC, raises an overvoltage alarm at 820 V DC, and engages the brake chopper once the bus climbs to 778 V DC. A limit of one power-up per minute protects the precharge circuit. Motor wiring may use shielded cable up to 50 m long or unshielded cable up to 75 m long without exceeding EMC limits.
