Product Description:
The FC-301P4K0T4134L2686 AC variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it carries the internal series identifier 301 and is designed for three-phase networks. The unit converts fixed industrial mains power into a regulated pulse-width modulation output. This output allows machine controllers to vary motor speed, regulate process torque, and reduce energy consumption in conveyors, pumps, and other automated systems that require speed control.
At 400 V, the inverter delivers a continuous output of 4.0 kW, draws 9.0 A from the mains, and supplies 10 A to the motor terminals. Its apparent power under the same operating condition is 6.9 kVA. At full load, the drive reaches an efficiency of 0.97, so approximately 3% of the input energy is dissipated as heat. The control section provides an output frequency of up to 590 Hz, while the DC bus tolerates a mains imbalance of 3.0%. Start procedures are limited to two power-ups per minute to protect the precharge circuit. The pulse switching frequency can reach 110 kHz when required by dynamic processes.
Power loss at rated load is 124 W, and cabinet ventilation must remove the resulting heat. The inverter accepts line voltages from 380–480 VAC and can magnetize induction motors up to a flux frequency of 300 Hz. Shielded motor cables may be routed up to 50 m, while unshielded cables may extend to 75 m without exceeding the applicable voltage limits. The control terminals withstand 28 V DC logic signals. The Safe Torque Off channel draws 50 mA RMS at 24 V, allowing the safety input to interface with compatible control circuitry. These electrical limits support installation on common industrial power systems while maintaining appropriate cable routing and cabinet cooling practices.
