Product Description:
The FC-301P4K0T4131H3278 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Designed for three-phase induction motors, the unit converts fixed-frequency line power into controllable voltage and frequency. This capability supports speed regulation, torque matching, and energy optimization in conveyor, pump, and fan systems used throughout industrial automation. The drive can adapt motor operation to changing process demands instead of requiring the connected motor to run continuously at full speed.
The drive operates with a line supply of 380–480 VAC and is intended for three-phase power networks. At 400 V, its apparent power requirement reaches 6.9 kVA, while operation at 460 V requires 6.5 kVA under the corresponding load conditions. Continuous motor output is rated at 4.0 kW, which corresponds to 5.0 hp. Within the lower portion of the voltage range, the inverter can draw 9.0 A from the supply and deliver 10 A to the motor. Above 441 V, the input and output current limits decrease to 7.4 A and 8.2 A, respectively. An efficiency of 0.97 at rated current indicates that a small portion of the incoming electrical power is dissipated as heat during normal operation.
Heat dissipation under full load is limited to 124 W, reducing the cooling demand inside an electrical enclosure. The control terminals provide a 10 V reference with a maximum current of 15 mA and a 24 V service rail capable of supplying 200 mA to connected sensors. Logic inputs tolerate up to 28 V DC and have an input resistance of 4 kΩ, which limits the load placed on upstream controllers. Shielded motor cables may extend up to 50 m, while unshielded motor cables may reach 75 m without exceeding the recommended operating limits. An integrated EMC filter suppresses conducted electrical noise and helps the drive satisfy typical industrial emission requirements without an external filter module.
