Product Description:
The FC-301P1K5T4131B9059 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. In automated installations, it receives three-phase 380–480 VAC mains power and delivers variable-voltage, variable-frequency output, allowing precise speed regulation of induction motors that drive pumps, fans, or conveyors. The device is designed for mounting inside control panels and can operate as part of a closed-loop system governed by a PLC or building management controller.
With a 400 V supply, the drive can process 2.8 kVA of apparent power, while a 460 V source lowers that figure to 2.7 kVA; these values account for the real and reactive power that the inverter must handle at full load. The continuous electrical output supports a motor rated at 2.0 HP or 1.5 kW, providing a clear limit for motor selection. The unit reaches an efficiency of 0.97 at rated current, limiting heat buildup and reducing the thermal load inside the control panel. Its three-phase topology accepts 380–480 VAC mains power with a permissible phase imbalance of 3% of the rated supply.
Speed regulation covers a broad range. In flux mode, the control scheme can generate frequencies from 0–300 Hz, while the final output stage can operate from 0–590 Hz, supporting low-speed torque and operation above synchronous speed. Power loss at full load is limited to 62 W, so standard panel ventilation is usually adequate. When connected to the plant network, the drive has a displacement power factor of at least 0.9, keeping the line current close to being in phase with the voltage. The drive permits two power-ups per minute and accepts a supply frequency of 50 or 60 Hz with a tolerance of ±5%. Output voltage is adjustable from 0% to 100% of the mains voltage. Supported motor cable lengths are 50 m for shielded cable and 75 m for unshielded cable.
