Product Description:
The FC-301P1K1T4134G0658 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Intended for panel mounting in automated plants, the module modulates voltage and frequency to control an induction motor’s speed, torque, and direction. By placing closed-loop speed control at the drive rather than relying on mechanical control devices, it supports energy-efficient operation in conveyors, pumps, and fan systems.
The control terminals provide one analog output and two digital outputs for connections to external automation equipment. Logic-side input terminals tolerate up to 28 V DC, providing suitable capacity for common industrial control signals. The power section accepts 380 – 480 VAC three-phase mains with a permissible voltage imbalance of 3.0 percent. The drive can be energized twice per minute without placing excessive stress on the charging circuit. At rated load, the inverter dissipates 58 W of heat, which helps determine the airflow needed within an electrical cabinet. Its output frequency ranges from zero to 590 Hz, while flux-vector operation has a separate ceiling of 300 Hz for magnetizing routines. The internal pulse generator switches at up to 110 kHz, providing fine current resolution for motor control.
The drive supplies a starting torque of 160 percent for 60 seconds, allowing heavy loads to overcome inertia without requiring an oversized motor. After rotation begins, torque response occurs within 1 ms under flux control and within 10 ms under VVC+ modulation. These response times allow the drive to follow rapid speed commands during changing load conditions. Its continuous power rating is 1.1 kW, which is suitable for motors requiring sustained operation at that output level. Shielded motor leads may extend up to 50 m, while unshielded motor leads may extend up to 75 m. The shorter allowance for shielded wiring accounts for its additional electrical characteristics while maintaining stable drive operation.
