Product Description:
The FC-301P1K1T2134L2625 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. The unit converts a fixed 200–240 VAC three-phase supply into a variable output that regulates induction motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and general machine axes. The drive provides closed-loop control without mechanical throttling, supporting energy-optimized operation across a broad range of industrial automation tasks.
The drive is rated at 1.1 kW, equivalent to 1.5 HP, and delivers a continuous motor current of 6.6 A while drawing 5.9 A from the mains. Apparent power at 230 V reaches 2.63 kVA, so upstream protection devices must be sized accordingly. With a flux frequency ceiling of 300 Hz and an adjustable output limit of 590 Hz, the unit supports applications that demand extended speed ranges. An overvoltage alarm threshold of 410 V DC protects the drive against excessive DC bus voltage. Conversion efficiency is 0.96, limiting waste heat and supporting compact enclosure designs. Power is routed through 4 mm² (12 AWG) cables, and the inverter supports shielded motor leads up to 50 m or unshielded runs up to 75 m without additional reactors.
The thermal and dynamic limits set practical installation requirements. Full rated output is available up to 45 °C, and operation can continue at elevations up to 1000 m without derating, simplifying installation in standard plant rooms or mezzanines. When a step change in reference is issued, the direct-vector flux loop reaches the commanded torque in 1 ms, while VVC+ mode requires 10 ms, allowing the response to be balanced with motor acoustics. Power dissipation under nominal conditions is only 63 W, so moderate panel airflow is normally sufficient.
