The FC-301P18KT4131Z7988 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a modulated output for operating compatible induction motors. This adjustable output allows an automation controller to regulate motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and general machine-control applications. The drive can respond to changing process demands while maintaining controlled acceleration and deceleration.
The inverter accepts a supply of 380–480 VAC and can continuously deliver 18.5 kW of electrical power to the motor terminals. Carrier-based speed control supports output frequencies up to 590 Hz, while the dedicated flux mode operates up to 300 Hz for optimized torque at lower speeds. A displacement power factor of greater than 0.98 limits reactive power consumption, and the true power factor remains at or above 0.9 under nominal load. Each digital output on the control board supplies up to 40 mA for contactor coils, status lamps, or similar control devices.
