It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a regulated output for controlling an induction motor. This allows connected control systems to adjust motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and other automated machinery. Variable-speed operation can also reduce energy consumption when the application does not require the motor to operate continuously at full output.
The drive has a continuous output capability of 11 kW, which corresponds to 15 HP of mechanical power when it is paired with a suitable motor. The input section accepts line voltages from 380–480 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial electrical systems. Its IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects the electronics against contact from fingers or tools and against light, vertically falling water. The B, C, D, and E frame sizes are intended for dry-room mounting, where the surrounding area remains protected from excessive moisture. Local operation is available through a graphical local control panel that presents operating status, alarms, and quick-menu functions. A brake chopper manages regenerative energy produced while the connected motor decelerates.
