Product Description:
The FC-301P11KT4131X7313 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It connects three-phase plant power to an induction motor and modulates voltage and frequency so that machine speed follows process demand instead of the fixed supply frequency. The drive supports automated pumping, ventilation, and conveying systems where precise motor control can improve energy use and reduce mechanical stress during changes in speed or load.
The input section accepts 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply and operates at supply frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz with a tolerance of ±5%. Internally, the inverter provides a continuous output of 11 kW, equivalent to 15 HP, and can produce carrier frequencies that raise motor flux to 300 Hz. For applications requiring high-speed operation, the synthesized waveform reaches a maximum output frequency of 590 Hz. The displacement power factor remains above 0.98, while the true power factor stays at or above 0.9 to reduce reactive current on the supply bus. Vector-based flux control provides a torque rise time of 1 ms, and the VVC+ algorithm settles within 10 ms, allowing rapid acceleration and controlled deceleration during machine cycles. The unit permits no more than one power-up per minute to limit thermal stress on internal power components.
The drive can operate without derating at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C and at elevations below 1000 m. The inverter meets the IE2 efficiency classification, which helps reduce electrical losses during continuous motor operation. Motor connections can use up to 50 m of shielded cable or 75 m of unshielded cable, providing flexibility when the motor and control cabinet are installed in separate areas. These cable allowances support distributed machine layouts while maintaining the available motor-control functions and rated operating range.
