Product Description:
The FC-301P11KT2131X7269 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a modulated output that allows control systems to vary induction motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and general process equipment. By matching the commanded frequency to real-time process demands, the drive can reduce energy consumption and mechanical stress on connected motors.
The drive has a rated output power of 11 kW, providing continuous capacity for midrange industrial machinery. Its input section accepts a three-phase supply of 200–240 VAC, allowing connection to compatible low-voltage distribution networks without a transformer. Motor speed can be adjusted through an output frequency of up to 590 Hz, supporting oversynchronous operation when a motor and its connected equipment are suitable for higher shaft speeds. An energy performance class of IE2 indicates the inverter’s efficiency level and helps limit heat generation inside the control panel. The drive has four programmable digital inputs for basic PLC logic, and the input circuitry tolerates up to 28 V DC. A separate transistor output can source 40 mA for status indication or interlocking functions. Motor cables may be up to 50 m long, and the terminals accept conductors with cross-sectional areas up to 35 mm², providing flexibility in cabinet placement and motor routing.
A built-in brake chopper connects to a DC rail maintained at 390 V DC, allowing controlled energy dissipation during rapid motor deceleration. Continuous full-load operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C, while operation without altitude derating is supported at elevations up to 1000 m. Above that elevation, output derating applies until the maximum operating altitude of 3000 m is reached. When flux control is selected, the drive provides a torque rise time of 1 ms for applications requiring a rapid dynamic response. VVC+ mode provides a 10 ms torque rise profile for applications that favor smoother acceleration. During flux-control operation, the output frequency is limited to 300 Hz.
