Product Description:
The FC-301P11KT2131F2087 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. The unit modulates motor voltage and frequency to adjust shaft speed in automated conveyors, centrifugal pumps, and general process equipment. By integrating speed control and protective monitoring in a single enclosure, the drive helps reduce mechanical throttling and align motor energy consumption with real-time load demand.
It delivers 11 kW of continuous electrical power, equal to 15 HP, so it supports medium-horsepower induction motors without derating. The converter accepts 200–240 VAC from a three-phase power supply, and the input stage tolerates line deviations of ±10%. An internal DC-link monitor issues a warning at 405 V DC, allowing the motor speed to be reduced before the bus capacitors reach the alarm threshold. The control card provides a 12-bit analog output for feedback tasks and furnishes two auxiliary sources: a 10 V reference that can supply 15 mA and a 24 V source rated at 200 mA. Logic terminals provide a 40 mA digital sink, while a form-C relay handles AC-1 loads of 240 V at 2 A. Phase imbalance protection de-energizes the inverter when the three mains phases differ by more than 3.0%. The startup logic restricts power cycling to one event per minute to help preserve component life.
An overvoltage alarm is triggered at 410 V DC, forcing a controlled coast stop before semiconductor limits are exceeded. Motor leads may run up to 50 m when shielded or 75 m when unshielded, allowing flexible cabinet placement while keeping dV/dt within motor insulation ratings. The logic stage can pulse notification devices at 32 kHz, which is suitable for high-speed counter inputs in PLCs and supports real-time status signaling. Shielding on shorter cable runs also helps control electrical noise around sensitive control wiring, while the longer unshielded allowance provides additional flexibility where electromagnetic interference is less restrictive.
