The 131H5492 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed mains power into regulated voltage and current, allowing a PLC or another control system to manage motor speed and torque. Typical applications include conveyors, pumps, processing machines, and material-handling equipment that require adjustable motor operation. The compact design supports installation in multi-axis control panels where available mounting space, cable routing, and heat dissipation must be carefully managed.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 22 kW, corresponding to 30 HP, which suits midrange industrial machinery. Its input stage accepts 380–480 VAC and operates with three-phase power, permitting direct connection to common industrial supply networks. An IP20 chassis enclosure protects users against accidental contact with hazardous internal components when the drive is installed correctly inside a cabinet. The open chassis construction allows heat from the heat sink to enter the enclosure, so the cabinet must provide sufficient airflow to maintain suitable operating temperatures. Proper clearance around the drive also helps prevent recirculated warm air from reducing its continuous output capability.
