The 131H3278 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Installed inside an automation cabinet, the drive modulates motor supply frequency and voltage so that the speed of a conveyor, fan, or pump can follow changing process demands. It is intended for general-purpose control of three-phase induction motors used in industrial machinery. The unit shares the mechanical platform used throughout the FC 301 range, allowing it to fit cabinet layouts designed around this drive family.
The drive accepts a mains input ranging from 380–480 VAC and operates with three-phase power from the plant network. Its internal rectifier does not include a brake chopper, so applications requiring dynamic braking must use suitable external braking equipment. Front access is provided through a graphical local control panel, which supports parameter entry and displays operating status. Cables enter through a standard cable-entry pattern, helping installers organize power, motor, and control wiring within the enclosure. The enclosure carries an IP21 / Type 1 rating, providing protection appropriate for indoor locations with limited exposure to dust and dripping water.
