The 131B1328 is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. It takes three-phase plant power, modulates the output frequency, and allows controllers to adjust motor speed on conveyors, pumps, and fans without mechanical throttling. Variable-speed operation helps match motor output to changing process demands while reducing unnecessary energy use. Its compact design also supports installation in control cabinets containing other automation components.

The drive accepts a mains voltage range of 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply and delivers a continuous output rating of 0.37 kW, equivalent to 0.50 HP. That output is suitable for fractional-horsepower motors frequently used on auxiliary conveyors and dosing pumps. A built-in brake chopper controls regenerated energy during rapid deceleration and supports connection of a braking resistor when the application requires one. No option cards are installed in the A, B, or C1 slots. The unit is supplied without a local control panel, simplifying wiring when all commands originate from a PLC or another remote control device. Its printed circuit boards are uncoated, making the drive suitable for clean electrical rooms where moisture and airborne contaminants are controlled.

The enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating, providing protection against accidental finger contact after the drive is installed inside a closed panel. A factory-installed RFI Class A1/B filter limits conducted emissions on industrial low-voltage networks. The optional MCB-107 24 V DC backup module keeps the control electronics powered during brief mains interruptions, helping retain process data and communication status. The unit supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing compatible metric glands or conduit adapters to be installed without special drilling. This mounting arrangement also provides orderly cable routing and consistent strain relief within the enclosure.
