Product Description:

The 131B1281 Automation Drive is produced by Danfoss for controlling industrial motors. The module possesses features that makes it an excellent option for control operations in industrial automation applications.

The 131B1281 automation drive has the power capacity of 2 HP which is the maximum power the drive is designed to handle. The accuracy of the torque output that the drive can achieve is within a 5% range of the rated torque. The voltage level on which the drive operates is 230 volts, which is common in many industrial applications. The module includes an incremental encoder and resolver to monitor the motor's position, speed or other parameters. With the incremental encoder it received feedback on position and speed by measuring the rotation of the motor shaft. Resolver is an alternative to the encoder that provides precise position feedback, especially in high precision applications. The wiring used for the control signals between the drive and other components are twisted and shielded which helps reduce electrical interference by twisting the wires together. The harmonic distortion is less than 48% without using external filters.

The 131B1281 automation drive has two relay outputs that can be programmed for various functions, such as triggering external alarms, controlling other devices or switching power on/off. Minimum resistance is required for the braking resistor that is used to dissipate energy when the motor decelerates quickly. This model has 6 digital inputs that can be configured to receive signals such as start/stop commands, speed adjustments or fault indicators. This VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series model has built in safety features such as overvoltage protection that protects it from voltage spikes. its undervoltage protection feature prevents operation if the supply voltage drops too low.
