Product Description:
The 131B1012 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. In automated machinery, it converts fixed-frequency line power into a regulated output that allows controllers to adjust motor speed and match load demand. This control can improve energy use in conveyors, pumps, and similar equipment. The drive also supports applications that require controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous speed regulation.
This unit supplies up to 5.5 kW of continuous motor power and is sized for applications that require approximately 7.5 HP of mechanical output. The input stage accepts a line voltage from 380–480 VAC. Its rectifier is configured for three-phase power, making the unit suitable for common industrial electrical systems within that voltage range. Internal electromagnetic interference suppression is provided by an RFI Class A1/B filter, which helps cabinet wiring comply with general industrial emission limits. The housing supports standard cable entries, allowing power and control conductors to be routed through conventional cable glands. The frame includes a brake circuit but does not have a brake chopper. The drive supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frame sizes, allowing it to be installed with other control components on a shared backplate while preserving the intended airflow path.
The control layer is accessed through a Graphical Local Control Panel that can be mounted directly on the drive or installed with a compatible door kit. The panel provides a local interface for viewing operating information, navigating parameters, and issuing basic commands. The enclosure uses an IP20 / chassis casing, which protects against accidental contact with internal electrical parts while remaining intended for installation inside a suitable cabinet. The circuit boards have a coated finish that provides additional protection against moisture and airborne contaminants. No auxiliary hardware is installed in the A, B, C, or D option positions, leaving those expansion locations unoccupied. Adaptation field B indicates that no product adaptation has been applied, and the internal product identification uses series index 301 within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group.
