Product Description:
The 131B1003 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. Within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it forms the power-conversion layer that links plant supply networks to induction motors, allowing speed regulation in conveyors, pumps, and other automated equipment. Designed for standard cabinet installation, the unit supports A, B, and C frame layouts and gives system builders a compact controller that fulfills midrange motion duties without additional plug-in hardware.
Rated output power is 5.5 kW, equivalent to 7.5 HP, so the drive can propel moderate-sized loads without requiring an oversized enclosure or feeder circuit. It accepts a supply of 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power source, allowing direct connection to common industrial mains. The IP20 chassis protection level keeps live parts guarded when the drive is mounted inside a ventilated panel. The unit is supplied without a brake chopper, and no A, B, C0, C1, or D option cards are installed. The mains supply slot is also empty, so the base topology remains unchanged. Standard cabinet mounting across the available frame sizes preserves the clearances required for airflow around the heat sink.
Operator interaction is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which displays parameters and permits local adjustments. Field wiring enters through standard cable glands, eliminating the need for special plate machining. The RFI configuration includes no additional EMC filter, so any filtering required by the installation must be provided separately. The printed-circuit assemblies are uncoated, leaving them without added protection from moisture and airborne contaminants. Adaptation B is set to no adaptation, so the unit uses its default functional profile. The Series Identifier is 301, aligning the drive with the corresponding controls and features of the automation platform.
