The 131B0747 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 301 Automation Drives series. As a member of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, this unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable output that allows PLCs or motion controllers to regulate motor speed precisely. The device serves as the controlling link between plant power networks and induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, and process equipment across automated manufacturing lines. Its output regulation allows connected machinery to adjust operating speed in response to changing production demands.
It accepts 380–480 VAC and requires three-phase power, allowing direct connection to compatible industrial supplies without phase conversion. The continuous output is 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2.0 HP and supports small centrifugal loads. The IP20 chassis enclosure protects against finger contact but requires installation inside a closed electrical panel. Normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames aligns the heat sinks with the airflow and positions the bus bars near adjacent modules. Proper panel spacing allows cooling air to pass over the heat sink and helps keep power wiring separated from control wiring.
