Product Description:
The Danfoss invented the VLT 3022 frequency inverter for accurate control of electric motors in industrial automation. The operational ambient temperature range is -10 to +45 °C at full load, while the storage and transport temperature range is -25 to +65/70 °C.
The VLT 3022 frequency inverter has been evaluated to fulfill EMC standards for both emissions and immunity, including EN 55011, EN 55014, EN 61000-3-2, EN 50082-2, IEC 1000-4 series, VDE 0160, ENV 50140, and ENV 50141. The frequency inverter supports a maximum cable cross-section of 16.0 mm² and a maximum motor cable length of 300 m, with an option of 150 m for screened cables. The frequency inverter produces an output voltage ranging from 0 to 100% of the mains voltage, as well as a programmable output frequency of 0-120 Hz or 0-500 Hz. The rated motor voltage is 380/400/415 V, with rated motor frequencies of 50/60/87/100 Hz. The frequency inverter includes integrated thermal motor protection that meets DIN 44081 standards, as well as electronic monitoring and thermistor safety. The inverter allows for unlimited switching on the output, albeit frequent switching may result in an error notice. The ramp times can be adjusted from 0.1 to 3600 seconds.
The VLT 3022 frequency inverter has switching capabilities that assure constant performance and ramp control, which allows for precise acceleration and deceleration changes. The frequency inverter operates within defined environmental parameters, including a vibration test level of 0.7 g and compliance with relative humidity conditions specified in VDE 0160 5.2.12. The design includes electronic thermal motor protection, which reduces the risk of overheating during extended operation. The frequency inverter is intended for continuous usage and meets professional requirements.
