The 175L2015 is a futuristic controller designed to meet the motion control requirements of automation systems in various industries all over the world. This unit is one of the many products of Danfoss Automation. It is tested and authorized for use in North America, Asia, and Europe. It requires little to no maintenance throughout its service life and is considered to have one of the lowest costs of ownership. Under standard operation conditions, this product will also maintain an operation efficiency level as high as 96 per cent while consuming only about 29.6 amperes of current. There is a fan installed at the back of this product; this fan operates together with a heatsink to ensure the safe elimination of excess heat from the housing of this product.

As an IP20 device, the 175L2015 is not protected from small foreign solid contamination like dust or metal fillings. Its housing also offers no protection against liquid incursions. For best performance, this product should be installed inside a control cabinet that can provide a minimum protection that meets the IP54 category. The 175L2015 is able to supply connected motors with an output current of about 25 amperes, and the continuous output power of motors connected to this product is about 10 kilovolts amperes.

Electrical cables connecting the 175L2015 to the motor can reach a maximum length of 1000 feet. This long length provides operators with a high degree of flexibility when it comes to determining the installation position of both the controller and the motor it is to be used with. The output voltage provided by this product is between 0 to 100 per cent of the AC line voltage. The maximum permissible humidity level for this product is 95 per cent.
