The 175H7446 is an adjustable frequency converter that uses a sophisticated software version to provide a high level of control over the position, torque output, and generation operation of several industrial motor designs. It is one of Danfoss Automation's most widely used products, and is considered to be the perfect choice for manufacturing operations across several industries. This converter is classified under the IP20 protection category; its compact housing design makes it possible for customers with limited installation spaces to easily integrate it. There is a control panel installed into the front part of this product. This panel is made up of two major parts: the keyboard and the display unit. Customers can use the keyboard for local control of the unit and for programming. The display provides real-time information on the operation status of the VLT, motor, and the industrial application. The display is a three-line Liquid Crystal Display (LCD).

The 175H7446 requires an input current of about 56.8 amperes, it also operates with an AC line voltage that falls between 200 to about 230 volts. At 100 per cent load, this product is still able to maintain an operation efficiency as high as 96 per cent. Its switching on the input is estimated to be about 5 times per minute. Motors connected to the 175H7446 are provided with a continuous current supply of about 46 amperes, this output current can intermittently reach a maximum value of 73.6 amperes for a duration of about 60 seconds.
