Product Description:
The 175H7293 is an AC variable-speed drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. It is designed to modulate the frequency and voltage supplied to three-phase induction motors so automated conveyors, pumps, or fan systems can match process demand rather than run at a fixed mains frequency. By adjusting motor torque and speed electronically, the drive helps reduce energy consumption, limits mechanical stress on driven equipment, and supports closed-loop control systems commonly used in industrial automation.
This model operates in demanding plant areas with an enclosure rating of IP54, which protects the internal electronics against dust ingress and splashing liquids. The input section accepts a three-phase mains supply of 3 × 380/400/415 V ±10% and converts it into a variable output that can deliver up to 15.0 kW of mechanical power at the motor shaft. Under constant-torque loading, the rectifier draws a line current of 30.7 A, while the drive topology and switching devices limit total losses to provide an overall efficiency of 0.96. An integrated RFI filter attenuates conducted emissions so the installation can meet typical electromagnetic compatibility requirements without external line filters.
On the motor side, the inverter can provide a constant-torque output current of 32.0 A and a variable-torque output current of 44.0 A for fan or pump applications. Apparent power available at the terminals reaches 23.0 kVA, and the thermal design limits power dissipation in the cabinet to 580 W during rated operation. Field wiring terminals accept conductors up to 16.0 mm², while unshielded motor leads may extend as far as 300 m; fully shielded motor leads may extend up to 150 m. A 63.0 A upstream fuse satisfies the short-circuit protection requirements. The assembled unit weighs 48.0 kg, which must be considered when selecting the mounting surface and installation hardware.
