The 175H7283 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. The device converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a pulse-width-modulated output that regulates induction motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and ventilation systems. By adjusting frequency and voltage, it allows the process to follow actual demand while reducing mechanical wear. A built-in brake chopper enables controlled deceleration of high-inertia loads, while the factory-installed RFI filter supports compliance with conducted-emission requirements in industrial automation environments.
In constant-torque mode, the rectifier draws 21.8 A, and the inverter can deliver up to 24.0 A to the motor terminals. These values affect conductor sizing and heat generation, with the drive dissipating 425 W that control-panel ventilation must remove. The drive supplies a rated mechanical output of 11.0 kW, which is adequate for typical 15 hp machines.
